Our Citizens’ Partnership will be a group with up to seven members. They will work with HSIB to support the patient and public perspective in our healthcare safety investigations.
The Citizens’ Partnership will be pivotal in building and maintaining public understanding and confidence in our healthcare safety investigations. It will work to make sure the public perspective is integral to everything we do and adds value to investigations from inception to completion.
Design and Delivery Group
We have appointed Patrick Vernon OBE as Chair of the Citizens’ Partnership following an open recruitment process. He is currently joined by interim members of a Design and Delivery Group. They will advise on how we set-up and establish the partnership.
After the design and delivery phase is complete, we’ll hold an open recruitment process to appoint permanent members to the Citizens’ Partnership.
