HSIB is seeking to appoint Clinical Advisors to work within our maternity investigation programme. The Clinical Advisor will be required to provide support and clinical expertise in obstetrics, neonatology or maternal medicine and related specialities. This would be to provide clinical advice and quality assurance to the maternity investigations. The post holder will also be required to present the work of and be an ambassador of HSIB at relevant local and national events. Maternity subject matter advisors

We’re looking for maternity subject matter advisors to work with us on a self-employed consultancy basis from a variety of specialties including obstetrics, neonatology and intensive care. Working closely with our maternity investigation teams, you’ll provide advice in relation to the elements of an investigation that relate to your specialist interest. We’re particularly keen to receive expressions of interest from consultant obstetricians who can offer a minimum of four days of time per month to support the maternity investigation programme.
