Publication scheme

The Freedom of Information Act requires every public authority to have a publication scheme, approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and to publish information covered by the scheme.

We are committed to routinely publishing certain classes of information, such as policies and procedures, minutes of meetings, annual reports and financial information.

The Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) launched in October 2023. Some of the information we’re required to publish is still in development and will be made available as part of the publication scheme when it’s finalised.
